We have been using Bristol Babysitting Agency for babysitting our two young children ever since we moved to Bristol four years ago. Without close family around, the agency has really helped us out, and has always been able to find us capable and pleasant sitters, even with just a few days notice. Most times, we are assigned the same person, which is great for the children.  The sitters are always charming and I've never felt worried about leaving my children for the night.  We have even had one sitter come to a hotel to sit for us, and I've found that if I communicate my needs from the start, the agency is always willing and able to accommodate me. We have never had a bad experience and neither have our very friendly carers. On the one occasion our daughter woke up the carer went in, sung her a song and our daughter went straight back to sleep, not even worrying that her parents weren’t there. Sue, the owner and occasional sitter is one of those whose advice I trust and she has become over the months as much a friend as the person who provides the sitter for a Friday night. Booking is so simple, whether it is by email, text or telephone and she never complains about the lateness of a booking but is always cheerful and has never let us down even during the busy periods such as Christmas.

The Babysitters at Bristol babysitting have given me a wonderful  and reliable service. I no longer need to cancel my evening sculpting classes because my sitter phones up last minute with a cough or cold. There is always someone to babysit and my 3 year old son has been asking over again for his  favourite sitter. Now my child seems to be disappointed when I stay in;  regularly asks on the way back from preschool if tonight is ‘babysitter night’!  I often have to say ‘not until after the weekend’ which leaves me with a  bemoaning sulking child. I have really been able to feel confident and secure  when leaving my son with the agency around. As a single parent it has bought  freedom without worry and a sense of independence back to my life being able to fully trust that he is safe the two nights a week that I am out of the house.
